I got to stand next to you, and listen to your little voice copy what I said.
You had been SO nervous before....in fact, I wasn't sure you were actually going to follow through and do it at all! But you were such a champ.
You made me proud little man.

Why I write...
After feeling overwhelmed with the pressures of motherhood and life in general, I have decided that this is the year I will find more joy in my special calling as a mother.
It is time for me to stop regretting things I have or have not done as a mother...and it's time for me to start embracing the many JOYFUL moments I know I am presented with daily...
This journal is for me...for my kids...as a place to document that joy I find each day and I hope this will help me see more clearly, and more often, what an important challenge I have taken on....and how rewarding it can truly be...especially on the really hard days.
