Dear kids,
Every night, right before climbing in bed, daddy and I have a race getting the boys nighttime diapers on.
Jenna, you are the one who gets it all started with your GO.
I love being surrounded by the cheering, the laughing, and the happy voices.
I have to admit, that lately I am losing my touch. :) Daddy has won the past few times...
What makes me laugh, Kaden, is that every single time (even those times you don't win) you come up to me and laugh while saying, "IN YOUR FACE!!"
Oh how I love those giggly moments before bed...

Why I write...
After feeling overwhelmed with the pressures of motherhood and life in general, I have decided that this is the year I will find more joy in my special calling as a mother.
It is time for me to stop regretting things I have or have not done as a mother...and it's time for me to start embracing the many JOYFUL moments I know I am presented with daily...
This journal is for me...for my kids...as a place to document that joy I find each day and I hope this will help me see more clearly, and more often, what an important challenge I have taken on....and how rewarding it can truly be...especially on the really hard days.
