Spencer is a boy of few words...
But he is SO smart. And he is REALLY funny.
Today he was standing next to me and started to snuggle with me. So I told him, "Spencer, you make me SO happy"
He looked up and did his SMILE...intentionally completely squinty eyes with his teeth showing.
Totally precious.

Why I write...
After feeling overwhelmed with the pressures of motherhood and life in general, I have decided that this is the year I will find more joy in my special calling as a mother.
It is time for me to stop regretting things I have or have not done as a mother...and it's time for me to start embracing the many JOYFUL moments I know I am presented with daily...
This journal is for me...for my kids...as a place to document that joy I find each day and I hope this will help me see more clearly, and more often, what an important challenge I have taken on....and how rewarding it can truly be...especially on the really hard days.
